Members of our club come from many backgrounds and from all ages. The individual experiences and knowledge is huge but we do all have one common goal and that is to serve the community in whatever way we can to produce a positive and enhancing support.
Each club is overseen by a President who normally, but not always, holds the post for a year. The President ensures that we are all moving in the right direction and oversees the fundraising that we do.
Assisting the President we have he all-important Treasurer, this is also an annual post but members who are good with figures and that have the knowledge are few and far between – sometimes Treasurers are in post for several years.
The Secretary ensures that we are complying with all the administrative requirement.
Other posts are no less important – Welfare, Fund-raising, Membership. These are all important roles within the club.
Karen has been a member of the lions for over to years and has a great deal of experience with most, if not all, aspects of the running of the club. In her current capacity she looks after PR and membership she malus sure that our publicity is up to date and that any membership queries.
