Well, Santa has fitted in his last Sleigh run for us today. He’s managed a marathon of 12 runs around the area and seen an estimated 700 children.
Santa would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported him again this year, it has been great to see so many people out in support – it is why he likes to help us – and has promised that he will be available next year.

Santa is finalising his Christmas preparations for 2019. Before he heads back to the Northpole, to ensure that all the presents are wrapped, labelled and ticked off against the many Christmas lists that he’s received over the past year, he is going to help us do three more Sleigh runs around Kingswinford and Stourbridge.
Look out for him on Friday in High Acres, he’s in and around Penfields on Saturday and his final run with us is around Charterfields & Blandford Mere on Sunday. Start times are: 6 pm on Friday and 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Santa has been out on his Sleigh visiting children and adults in Stourbridge and Kingswinford.
His routes this weekend are WallHeath, Valleyfields and Pedmore (Stourbridge). He is looking forward to seeing many of you out this weekend.

Kingswinford & Stourbridge Lions would also like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported their annual bedding plant sale again this year, their 8th year, and helped them to raise another wonderful amount of over £1000 which will go towards helping other local charities and good causes in the future.
We have had so much great support over the last few days, catering at two schools and then the Netherton Fun day. We topped it with a fantastic turnout at the Stourbridge Carnival on Sunday. Thank you for all of your support.
Following the success of last year’s Duck Race we are holding this year’s on Sunday 9th June. The day will open at 12 o’clock and will be held at the Stourbridge Canal Junction.
Parking will be off Kinver Street, Amblecote where there will be stalls and refreshments.
The race will take place at 3 pm – each duck will cost £1
Kingswinford & Stourbridge Lions have collected 735 spectacles over the last year for our fellow Lions in the Chichester Lions Club.
These are recycled and sent to and via various charities to other parts of the world where they are used to assist those who need them.
